Before signing a Purchase Agreement on a home you will need to sit down with a lender to find out what type of mortgage you qualify for. Most sellers will not accept a Purchase Agreement without a letter stating that you are pre-qualified for a mortgage. In the interest of your time, it is always a good idea to review your mortgage options with a mortgage lender prior to looking for homes in order to help educate you on what you can afford.
